Registration Team Assist new families with registration and help pre-registered children quickly locate their assigned classes. Manage the check-in process, prepare take-home materials, and support additional needs as directed by the Children’s Minister.
Worship Team Lead worship from the stage during opening and closing sessions as well as designated worship times. Teach motions and songs, model joyful participation, and help children understand the purpose of worshiping our Savior. Attendance at scheduled rehearsals outside of VBS week is required.
Drama Team Perform and pre-record engaging skits that introduce humor and communicate the daily main point in a memorable way for the children. Participation in rehearsals and filming prior to VBS week is required.
Bible Story Team Teach the daily Bible story as student groups rotate through. Clearly communicate the main point, key Scripture, and Bible verse in an engaging, age-appropriate manner that helps children understand and apply the lesson.
Crafts Team Warmly welcome each group as they rotate in and guide students in completing the daily craft. Use the activity time to reinforce the Bible point and encourage creativity while providing hands-on assistance.
Games Team Lead high-energy, well-organized games for each rotating group with a positive and encouraging attitude. Ensure activities are safe, engaging, and inclusive for all students.
Snack Team Prepare and serve snacks for each rotating group. Create a welcoming environment, manage distribution efficiently, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the snack area.
Field Guides Serve as the primary leaders and helpers for a specific grade level throughout the week. Escort students to each rotation, assist with bathroom breaks, sit with and monitor them during opening and closing sessions, and build relationships with the same group each night.
Runners Provide flexible, behind-the-scenes support by assisting the Registration Team and the Children’s Minister with a variety of needs throughout the evening. Responsibilities may include escorting students to their correct locations during check-in, preparing and distributing materials, delivering snack counts, assisting with offering preparations, helping with bathroom breaks, and responding to other needs as they arise.
